Ward 3a Forest is one of three inpatient units at Monash Children’s Hospital and while we are predominately the Children’s surgical ward, we also take medical and adolescent patients as well. This means our nurses are able to continually increase their skills by supporting patients and their families presenting with various concerns.
Our ward is currently funded to be open to 28 beds with the potential to open to 32 inpatient beds in the future.
Working on Forest Ward, you will continually be exposed to unique clinical situations and we are looking for nurses who are excited by this ongoing development! You will see a vast variety of surgical interventions, both pre and post op, and will be able to develop your clinical skills within a fun and supportive environment. In this role you may also be supporting our Renal patients, helping you to add some more specialised clinical skills to your already strong skillset.
We have Full and Part Time Ongoing roles working across a 24/7 rotating roster.
