SECASA Counsellor/Advocates work collaboratively with clients to support empowerment, safety, recovery and justice seeking. The position is responsible for delivering high-quality counselling and advocacy to victim survivors of sexual assault and family violence, using frameworks of intersectionality, trauma focussed interventions, gender equality and a human rights based approach.

The South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence (SECASA) provides sexual assault and family violence therapeutic support and advocacy across nine locations within south eastern metropolitan region of Melbourne. SECASA delivers a wide range of services including individual and group counselling, advocacy, crisis support, and community education prioritising the empowerment of victim survivors.
