The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is looking for an experienced, motivated and driven candidate to add your unique skill set in Drug Delivery in the role of Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor where you will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to both undergraduate education and postgraduate training programs including the training and supervision of PhD students.
You will also have the exciting opportunity to develop you research by joining the world's #2 ranked Faculty in Pharmacy and Pharmacology (QS Rankings 2021) and successful applicants will take up a position with the Drug Delivery Disposition and Dynamics (D4) Theme at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS). The D4 theme specialises in drug formulation and delivery with particular interests in oral delivery, inhaled delivery, the lymphatics, the blood brain barrier and the development of nanomedicines for the delivery of novel biologics such as nucleic acids.
The Monash Insititute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS) integrates research from five fundamental research themes to identify, develop, optimise and deliver new drug treatments - ultimately translating basic research into clinical trials. These research themes are Drug Delivery, Disposition and Dynamics, Drug Candidate Optimisation, Drug Discovery Biology, Medicinal Chemistry and Medicine Use and Safety.
A successful candidate will have a doctoral qualification in the relevant field, with significant research experience, and experience in curriculum and subject material development as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. These attributes will assist you to build an international recognised research program, to prepare and deliver seminars and lectures, to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research students and ultimately to deliver impact in the fast-moving field of medicine research and education.

To be successful in this role, you must have a doctoral qualification and recognised significant experience in the relevant discipline, with emphasis on experience in the field of teaching and research.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
