The Organisation

ClimateWorks Australia is an expert, independent adviser, acting as a bridge between research and action to accelerate the transition to net zero emissions for Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. It was co-founded in 2009 by The Myer Foundation and Monash University and works within the Monash Sustainable Development Institute.

ClimateWorks Australia also benefits from strong relationships with an international network of affiliated organisations that support effective policies, financing and action for greenhouse gas emissions reductions.

The Opportunity

Bring your experience in leading project teams to ClimateWorks and take responsibility for the development and end-to-end delivery of collaborative projects with corporates and global partners to deliver significant impact in the Sustainable Corporates team.

The Sustainable Corporates team aims to support corporates in understanding, committing to and taking strong, credible action towards net zero emissions. These projects will seek to understand, establish and define best practices to support corporates in their transition to net zero emissions, as well as track and disclose corporate performance.

Utilising your knowledge of climate change strategies and plans, your exceptional stakeholder management, research and analysis oversight, as well as your project management skills you will drive these projects, manage small project teams and support translation of project research and findings to achieve strategic outcomes.
