About Moonee Valley Sustainability

Moonee Valley Sustainability (MVS) is a growing collective of local volunteers, supporters and community groups in Moonee Valley (Melbourne, Australia).  We promote, support, enable and advocate for sustainable living in Moonee Valley. We take action to grow community capacity to counter further climate impacts and build climate resilience for climate sustainability through education, campaigns, events, innovative projects, research and enabling community connection. 

About the role

We are looking for a part-time volunteer to help develop and maintain our wordpress website. This will involve:

• Updating the content of the website once a week

• Working with members of the communication team to work out abilities and capabilities of website in meeting our needs.

• Upgrading the website to have a membership enrollment process with online form linked to database

• Upgrading website so that it has a volunteer / get involved sign up process with online form and linked to database

• Setting up an online payment system.

You will need to have

• Good working knowledge of wordpress website.
• Experience in setting up data collation and payment collection systems on websites.
• Experience in linking website to existing databases
• Experience in setting up online payments.
• Ideally be a resident in Moonee Valley, or very close.
