About the Role

Reporting to the Coordinator – Early Years and Best Start the core responsibilities include:

  • Administration of the kindergarten central registration scheme.
  • Effective management of enquiries, information systems and databases.
  • Data collection, analysis, and process improvement.
  • Ensuring kindergarten places are allocated in a transparent and equitable way.
  • Building strong relationships with services and providing a high level of customer service to families to support a smooth pathway to kindergarten enrolment.

About You

  • Highly developed analytical and administrative skills including computer skills, database management and process improvement.
  • High level of verbal and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional relationships to facilitate effective service delivery.
  • Experience managing the administration of a kindergarten central registration scheme or working in a local government context is highly desirable.
