In our mission to stop men dying too young, we’re seeking a passionate Senior Manager, Fundraising & Development to join our Melbourne based team. About the role

You will be responsible for growing revenue and the number of fundraisers for Movember during the flagship Movember campaign and other key moments around the year. You will focus both on the acquisition and retention of supporters in order to deliver growth in your allocated sectors (retail, technology, banking and finance).

You will be allocated a revenue target relating to the development of Movember's fundraising community and you will create remarkable experiences for this community to ensure their ongoing financial support.

This is a permanent full-time position with the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your work between home and our Richmond office.

You’ll have the opportunity to

  • Contribute to the development of the overall fundraising strategy for APAC.
  • Deliver the fundraising strategy, plan and programs for your assigned accounts.
  • Use Salesforce to identify giving trends and analyse data sets to create a clear stewardship plan for the community.
  • Be the senior relationship manager for a portfolio of high value fundraising supporters.
  • Actively pursue new fundraising opportunities within APAC, through a robust fundraising development process from lead generation to close and stewardship.
  • Attend events to represent Movember and identify pipeline opportunities.
  • Increase public awareness of men's health issues and the work that the Movember does to support these.
  • Support the marketing and PR team to recruit supporters, share stories and be interviewed by the media where necessary.

For this role, you’ll need

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar fundraising, partnership or revenue development role.
  • A proven track record in managing fundraising portfolios with significant revenue generation.
  • To be a people person and genuinely enjoy partnering and connecting with our community.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience, with ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Highly developed organisation skills, the ability to prioritise and manage several programs concurrently.
  • Superior written communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for men’s health.

Bonus points for

  • Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Business, Marketing, Health or other related discipline.
  • Previous experience managing a high performing team.
