The main purpose of the Senior Worker - Health and Wellbeing Promotion and Engagement is to coordinate the delivery of mental health projects in both Hobart and Launceston, including direct delivery of services, as required. This role will include developing non-clinical programs for individuals, capacity building/community development with multicultural communities, and training and capacity building with external services, including a lead role in the delivery of the Tasmanian Transcultural Mental Health Network. The Senior Worker - Health and Wellbeing Promotion and Engagement will lead assigned project development, monitoring and evaluation and will provide support and guidance to community development and other staff, ensuring they are provided with adequate supervision.

Employment is subject to a satisfactory National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People registration which the MRC Tas can organise for the preferred candidate.
