Our Client Service Advisors (call centre based) are the first point of contact for our clients and the most crucial. We provide empathy, compassion and understanding, while also obtaining the information needed to efficiently book our clients into the services they require.

We are an integral part of our organisation and are paramount to ensuring that our clients are responded to swiftly, effectively, compassionately, and without judgement.

About us:

We are an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to ensuring sexual and reproductive health services are equally accessible to all people living in Australia. We are the only national accredited provider of abortion, contraception and vasectomy services, and the country’s longest running provider of teleabortion. Our holistic, client-centred approach empowers individuals to control their reproductive health safely, and with dignity, regardless of their circumstances. Through active partnerships with healthcare providers, researchers and communities, our models of care ensure the total wellbeing of our clients is supported at every stage.

What we want you to do:

  • Our clients come first – they may be distressed and highly anxious so it’s crucial to ensure they’re able to speak with someone swiftly
  • As the first person our clients speak to, your empathetic and non-judgemental phone manner will help put them at ease
  • You will develop and maintain professional relationships with clinical team members to ensure clients receive exceptional care
  • Provide a superior client experience through the accurate recording of information and data collection, relating to client bookings
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the clinical services and operations to provide effective and efficient responses to client calls

What we need:

  • A Pro-choice Advocate
  • Fantastic customer service skills and experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Confidence using MS Office and database management systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
  • Ability to work to targets and KPI's
  • Previous customer service experience- face to face or over phone

What we'd like to see (but aren't essential):

  • Previous experience within a call centre environment (highly desirable)
  • Experience within the health sector
  • Telephone triage experience
