about the role

You will be joining a highly creative, supportive and driven Marketing and Communications team across a wide range of projects and areas. This is a full time, permanent role working in Eight Mile Plains (free on site parking & commute against the traffic!).

As our Marketing Officer, you will:

• Work collaboratively with the team to plan and implement new marketing initiatives, content, and campaigns.
• Manage the Marketing team’s supplier relationships and maintain our donations program.
• Contribute to service and event marketing strategies by offering advice and creating content.
• Manage the marketing request system, ensuring the team can provide a trusted service to the organisation and our customers.
• Design new marketing materials including flyers, brochures, case studies, and support documentation.
• Use our content management system, intranet, email marketing and other systems to help maintain our communication channels with customers and staff.
• Assist in managing our brand’s social media on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter.

What you will bring to the role:

• 1-3 years experience in similar role.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• An interest in learning and contributing to all areas of marketing.
• ​High level of interpersonal skills including the ability to network and work collaboratively with internal and key business stakeholders.
• Experience in using content management systems, digital communication tools and intranets.

Salary sacrifice + Meal entertainment

Working for a not for profit, you will be able to access Salary packaging including $15,900 packaging limit per FBT year (1 April- 31 March) and $2,550 per year for meals and entertainment expenses. This will increase your take home pay potentially by $6,000 on top of your base salary.

Mandatory requirements

The successful applicant will be required to obtain a positive notice from Disability Services (Yellow Card), Working with Children Check (Blue card) and National Criminal History check. You must also have NDIS Worker Orientation certificate completed, please login to https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/ if you haven't obtained the certificate already.
