As our Purchasing Officer you will look provide day to day support to ensure efficient supply of goods and services required for project operations, including:

  • Assist with the implementation of processes, optimising Multicap’s purchasing and procurement function to deliver the maximum cost saving to the organisation
  • Collaborate with the Manager Procurement & Transport on all procure-to-pay matters, including process and procedural efficiency which affects procurement and purchasing.
  • Collaborate with the business and end users to ensure procurement and purchasing is efficient and optimise both procurement and business requirements.
  • Convert PRs to POs, ensuring all purchase orders are created in line with business expectations and are compliant with Multicap processes and procedures.
  • Maintain and resolve Goods Receipt Invoice Receipting
  • Liaise with the Finance team to ensure PO and RP’s are produced in a timely manner.
  • Assist with sourcing, negotiations, preparation and execution of contracts, variations and extensions, when required.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Cert IV in Procurement and Contracting (or equivalent) minimum
  • 3 years experience in purchasing and procurement
  • Experience with PERP use and implementation, eg: SAP/ S4 Hana, Oracle, MS Dynamics.
  • Previous experience working with using a P2P system.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude with a passion for providing great service
  • Strong attention to detail & excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Working for a not for profit, you will be able to access Salary packaging including $15,900 packaging limit per FBT year (1 April- 31 March) and $2,550 per year for meals and entertainment expenses. This will increase your take home pay potentially by $5,000 to $6,000 on top of your base salary.
