NAAJA is seeking Civil Law Solicitors, to join our Civil Law team. Positions can be located across NAAJA’s Darwin, Katherine or Alice Springs offices.

Successful applicants will have a commitment to providing access to justice and a demonstrated empathy and sensitivity to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, history and culture.

The right candidates will have:

• Eligibility for Admission as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory with at least 2 years post-admission experience
• Ability to undertake civil law litigation and casework with limited supervision
• Ability to travel remotely for up to 4 nights
• Excellent communication skills, including in cross-cultural settings
