NAAJA is seeking a Coordinator to join our Custody Notification Service team. This is a fixed-term contract to 30 June 2023.

The Custody Notification Service (CNS) consists of Solicitors and Client Service Officers (CSOs) based in both the Darwin and Alice Springs Office. The CNS Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing a 24-hour legal advice and support phone line for Aboriginal people taken into police custody.

The right candidate will have:

  • 3+ years post-admission experience
  • Demonstrated management and supervision experience
  • Skills in cross-cultural communication and an ability to work with a diverse team
