NAAJA is seeking Deputy Managing Civil Solicitor, to join our Darwin Civil Law team. Applicants with an interest in our regional offices are also encouraged to apply.

Successful applicants will have a commitment to providing access to justice and a demonstrated empathy and sensitivity to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, history and culture.

The right candidate will have:

  • Eligibility for Admission as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory with at least 5 years post-admission experience
  • Ability to undertake and supervise civil law litigation and casework
  • Ability to travel remotely for up to 4 nights
  • Excellent communication skills, including in cross-cultural settings

The positions offer attractive employment benefits including:

  • Salary of CiLO4.1 $98,455 – CiLO4.4 $107,961 per annum, dependent on experience, plus superannuation
