As a member driven peak body, NADA’s decisions and actions are informed by the experiences, knowledge and concerns of its membership. In partnership with the University of Wollongong, NADA supports data collection, evaluation and publication across our member services. This includes maintaining a database of client demographic and outcomes for the sector, called the NADAbase, and helping to provide analysis of data that is collected across the sector.
This is an exciting position for an experienced Senior Research Officer to focus on alcohol and other drug use treatment services data (AODTS) from the non government sector. The role will involve helping to analyse and interpret data collected within the NADAbase, producing reports for the sector, developing academic research publications, and supporting services and academic partners to utilise the data to support and promote the quality and evidenced-informed care provided by NADA members. If you have demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in research project management, writing research manuscripts, conducting statistical and/or database analysis, and ability to analyse and construct reports that provide insights to a broad audience we would like to hear from you.
The successful candidate for this position will have highly organised administrative skills, excellent computer knowledge and skills and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. The successful applicant will be strongly supported by the Centre for Health Psychology Practice and Research (CHPPR) at the University of Wollongong.
