We are looking for a Programs Manager to be responsible for organising programs and activities for our organisation and managing associated staff. Nalderun’s 20 staff operate a number of programs supported by a range of Federal, State and Local Government grants.

You will be tasked with assessing and supporting the needs of current programs and program staff and developing and rolling out new programs to support the organisation's strategic direction. You will also assist in developing budgets and be accountable for meeting budgeted outcomes, outputs and deliverables under the program. You will also be involved in developing operational plans for programs, writing program funding proposals and assisting with acquittals, in collaboration with other Nalderun staff.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in both program management and team management in complex environments particularly within the not for profit sector.

The position will be responsible for:

• Managing programs and activities in accordance with Nalderun’s mission and goals;
• Managing, mentoring and supporting Program staff and Volunteers;
• Ensuring that Program work plans and budgets are developed and adhered to in collaboration with staff;
• Implementing and managing changes to ensure Program goals are met and grant deliverables adhered to within the confines of a finite budget
• Providing timely, accurate and meaningful reports to the CEO, Directors and Grant providers

This is initially a contract to December 31 2022, with an opportunity to extend dependent on funding.
