An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the native title sector in the areas of cultural heritage, compensation and native title legislative and policy reform. The National Native Title Council (NNTC) needs to fill the position of Senior Policy Officer.

The NNTC is a not-for-profit peak body representing native title organisations from across the country.  We have a broad membership base and provide a national voice for the Indigenous native title sector on matters of national significance.  

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised professional to join Senior Staff located in Melbourne, Victoria and Perth, Western Australia.  Excellent communication skills are a must as is the ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders, particularly First Nations people. A knowledge of native title processes, and familiarity with the political, cultural and legal issues affecting native title would be beneficial.

The position is being offered on a 12-month full time fixed term arrangement with a salary range of $100,908 to $110,368 per annum plus superannuation and salary packaging. As a not-for-profit organisation salary packaging is also available.
