About the Role:  

  • Full-time, 38 hours, 5 days per week  
  • Fixed-term contract until 31 December 2022, with a possibility of an extension, but with no guarantee

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordination and successful delivery of activities within funded projects. This is across all projects in Tasmania. The Project Coordinator will also contribute to government submission including assisting with consultations with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

  • Co-ordinate activities within funded projects in Tasmania, including administration of reporting obligations

Project Communications:

  • Regularly engage with stakeholders and prepare an array of communications collaterals as necessary to support existing projects.
  • Respond to enquiries and initiate high quality support to disability service organisations, providing information, advice and support.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by manager supervisor from time to time. 

 Desired Skills and Experience

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated project management and administrative skills and proven capability to support multi-faceted projects delivered on time and on budget.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain networks with a range of stakeholders and publicly present on workforce opportunities.
  • Is resilient and adaptable to change course of action as needed.
  • Proactive and positive attitude.
  • Understanding of disability workforce challenges advantageous.
  • Experience in administration or project assistance roles highly desirable
