This role will manage and deliver a range of sector support and development programs and initiatives, to build the capacity and capability of disability services in WA. The position plays a critical role in coordinating a range of sub- committees, training, information events and forums. The position works across all levels of the WA division and supports sector development projects.
In this role, you should be passionate about supporting people across the disability sector to learn and grow. The role involves developing and managing positive constructive relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders to identify sector development needs and opportunities. The role involves designing, sourcing and facilitating solutions, workshops, forums and training to meet those needs whilst working closely with the NDS National Learning and Development Team. It is expected that the position holder is aligned to, and demonstrates NDS’s values of respect, teamwork and collaboration, leadership, innovation, and accountability at all times.
