About the role

The Data Officer’s primary role is to support the collection, analysis and reporting of data for the Wellness Connect- National Psychosocial Support Program.

About the Program

The National Psychosocial Support Program (NPSP) provides short-term, flexible and recovery orientated psychosocial support focused on capacity building and connection. The program is delivered by a consortium of six NGO agencies with Neami National as lead agency. Services are tailored to each individual in line with their recovery goals. There is a planned merger of the NPSP and Wellness Connect Program, so the data officer role will also support Wellness Connect from 1 January 2022.

This role will call on you to support the use of the Mastercare database with a focus on data recording, extracting data for reporting and service development purposes and supporting and training database users. The data officer should have a thorough understanding of information management, the application and use of databases and the ability to provide detailed reporting. The data officer will need well developed inter-personal communication skills, a willingness to listen and to pro-actively support users to achieve optimal results.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector
  • Demonstrated experience in data and reporting based planning, implementation, analysis and problem solving
  • Strong computer literacy including experience in the management of databases
  • Demonstrated strong commitment to consumer rights and their active participation in mental health services and an understanding of the quality, safety and compliance issues related to the provision of support services to people with psychosocial disabilities
  • Demonstrated integrity and credibility, and an ability to foster open honest communication

Mandatory requirements:
