Provide payroll leadership to ensure payroll services are delivered consistently across the business

• Work collaboratively with the National Payroll Manager and all staff to enhance payroll processes
• Role requires high level of professionalism

The Position

The Payroll Officer is responsible for overseeing the fortnightly and monthly processing of payroll and salary packaging, responding to staff queries and maintaining employee records. The position is part of a team and works under the direction of the National Payroll Manager.

About you:

• Excellent skills and knowledge of payroll concept including award interpretation, superannuation legislation, employment related taxation and salary packaging
• Demonstrated ability in payroll systems
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
