Neami National have established Towards Home+ as part of the Victorian Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Action Plan (2018). In Geelong, the service is being delivered in full partnership with DHHS, Launch Housing, Bolton Clarke, Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative, Uniting AOD & Mental Health services and Melbourne City Mission . These services take a continuum approach towards homelessness and rough sleeping underpinned by recovery orientation and trauma informed practice. These services incorporate assertive street level outreach and engagement and intensive case management.
As the Service Manager, your experience managing a team, inclusive of associate staff, in a rapidly changing environment will be pivotal to your overall success. You will be able to approach tasks in a calm and logical manner and have extensive experience in partnership development. You will be able to make hard decisions when required but your management style will be more about building your team members capacity, coaching and supporting them to develop their skills and become leaders of the future.
