Suicide Prevention Australia is the membership based peak body working to build a stronger suicide prevention sector, a more aware and engaged community, and a more effective regulatory and funding environment. Suicide Prevention Australia engages with member organisations, governments, businesses, researchers, practitioners and those with lived experience seeking to reduce the impact of suicide on the community.

The Role

This new role is reporting to the Director of Quality Systems and Practice and you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and implementing project plans for the accreditation program
  • Develop relevant resources including interactive online training, webinars and workshops
  • Conducting stakeholder consultation comprising planning, facilitation and presentations
  • Managing key project activities including data collection, analysis and training
  • Research materials for the project, producing high quality documents and resources for external distribution

Skills Required

You will have a background encompassing timely and efficient project coordination and delivery from the non-profit sector, along with:

  • Experience in education, training, health or mental health sectors
  • An understanding of membership organisations and delivering online educational resources
  • Building frameworks to ensure best practice and successful project delivery
  • Advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven problem solving, multi-tasking and organisational skills
