Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA) is an independent, not-for-profit, member based organisation and the peak body representing and supporting more than 1,000 primary care skin cancer medical professionals in both Australia and New Zealand.
SCCA provides general practitioners, skin cancer doctors and nurses with direct access to the latest knowledge and practical skills to improve the identification and treatment of skin cancer. SCCA is committed to the professional development of its members and the delivery of skin cancer education, advocacy, research and standards.
Following success and growth since its inception in 2012, SCCA is now moving into its next stage of development with a new strategic framework and executive leadership structure.
You will provide strategic advice and build best practice operational capability in the areas of finance and accounting, human resources, business operations, and risk management and compliance.
Reporting to the CEO and leading a small team, you will also have responsibility for the company secretarial, reporting, purchasing and procurement functions of the College, together with continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen SCCA’s governance, operational performance and competitiveness.
This role will suit candidates from corporate or NFP backgrounds with significant experience working in an operational management or similar role with a focus on governance, organisational, financial and risk management.
You bring a commercial and ethical mindset and an effective and collaborative style of leadership, with demonstrated experience developing and implementing operational capability and governance improvement, including knowledge and understanding of NFP and ACNC governance standards.
