Suicide Prevention Australia is the membership based peak body working to build a stronger suicide prevention sector, a more aware and engaged community, and a more effective regulatory and funding environment. Suicide Prevention Australia engages with member organisations, governments, businesses, researchers, practitioners and those with lived experience seeking to reduce the impact of suicide on the community.

The Role

This new role reports to the Director Quality Systems and Practice and you would be responsible for:

  • Understanding member and stakeholder training needs and plan relevant systems and procedures
  • Work closely with the System Designer to roll out the implementation of the new CPD programs
  • Create content and course delivery measures in line with the competency framework
  • Assist with the organisation and promotion of activities and events relating to the new CPD programs
  • Generate reports via data analysis and statistics for the completed programs and make recommendations

Skills Required

You will have qualifications or experience in adult education and training, from either corporate or non-profit organisations where you have demonstrated the below skills:

  • Understanding of online learning and professional development programs
  • Experience of design and implementation of adult education frameworks
  • Ability to design, develop and deliver CPD programs to a wide audience
  • Familiar with membership based or health focused organisations
  • Creating innovative, informed and engaging content to ensure the success of new CPD programs
