The Organisation

Blue Knot Foundation’s core mission is to empower the recovery of adults with experiences of complex trauma (repeated violence, abuse and neglect). They offer a range of important services including phone and online counselling: Blue Knot Helpline and Redress Support Service and National Counselling and Referral Service - Disability; educational workshops, professional development training, supervision, consultancy and other services.

The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a significant role in helping raise awareness of and engagement with Blue Knot’s services across a wide cross-section of the community.

The Role

Blue Knot is undergoing a substantial digital transformation - launching two new websites, a brand refresh and completing an integration of Salesforce and new marketing automation platforms. You will be responsible for the development and execution of the digital strategy including the implementation of multiple touch points and journey mapping for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implement and be accountable for the digital and social media strategy and its execution
  • Optimise use of marketing automation platforms and build out user journeys across all digital touch points
  • Support digital content creation and website optimisation through analytics and SEO and SEM strategies
  • Develop key digital metrics for reporting and KPIs
  • Analyse and report on trends and campaign effectiveness
  • Optimise organic content, paid digital advertising and email marketing

Required skills & experience

You will have experience in digital and social media marketing, an interest in social justice, health or mental health and may come from a like-mined community, government or corporate organisation. You are able to deliver mission-driven attuned communications, innovative content creation and measure campaign effectiveness for multiple target markets.

You are responsive, accountable and flexible to work tasks, have a high level of emotional competency and embody the values and mission of Blue Knot Foundation. You will also have:

  • Experience with Wordpress, Woocommerce, Salesforce and Active Campaign (or similar)
  • A track record in digital and social media strategy, planning, management, content creation and execution across organic and paid
  • Proven experience in data collection, analysis, reporting and ability to optimise based on results across all digital platforms (Adwords, SEO, SEM & Google Grants (highly regarded))
  • High level of communication, interpersonal & stakeholder engagement skills
