The Role

You will provide high level executive support to the CEO and Program Director as required, ensuring a seamless flow of communication in a fast paced and fluid environment. You will collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders including: board members, senior leaders, early learning and care providers, peak bodies, Federal and State government, educators and researchers. Key aspects of the role include:

  • Administrative support to the CEO, including diary/inbox management and scheduling meetings
  • Process development and improvement
  • Board support, including coordinating reports, meetings, minutes and agendas
  • HR and finance support
  • Ad hoc administration and projects, including staff well-being initiatives, organising travel and assisting the team with events and seminars

Skills Required

You will have demonstrated experience working as an Executive Assistant supporting at a senior/executive level ideally within the for-purpose sector.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Initiative, organisation and time management skills
  • Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to use Microsoft Office at an advanced level
  • Flexibility and resilience in changing and evolving environments
  • Experience in a start-up or workplace that is changing and evolving
  • Salesforce experience advantageous
  • Ideally you will show an interest and understanding towards the Early Childhood Education sector
