The Manager, Strategic Communications leads the oversight and implementation of RedR’s programme communications strategies and associated content collection plans. You are responsible for driving a digitally-enabled future with a focus on more inclusive, engaging, and experiential communications. This leadership position supports a small team of communications specialists and contracted providers to uplift RedR’s internal communication and collaboration. You will work closely with RedR’s executive, peers, regional offices; your stakeholders include the media, private sector and UN partners, Government, universities, and donors. Critically, this key role is instrumental in supporting DFAT to meet its humanitarian public diplomacy priorities by increasing the awareness, visibility, and results reporting for the Australia Assists program. You are a communications leader with relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience) and sophisticated writing, editing, and proofreading skills. You have demonstrated success in planning and implementing humanitarian/development campaigns and experience developing and managing engaging content strategy and implementation for multiple channels.
