The Role

The TFA NSW Stakeholder Engagement Manager engages and consults with a broad range of key stakeholders to understand community needs and build awareness and support for TFA’s mission and programs. Working to address education disadvantage you will:

  • Develop and implement the stakeholder engagement strategy for NSW
  • Design and lead successful workshops, meetings and other core engagements
  • Further identify influential individuals, organisations and networks relevant to TFA’s mission
  • Increase awareness of TFA’s programs and opportunities for support
  • Represent TFA in relevant stakeholder and public meetings, forums and events
  • Work collaboratively with the TFA National Office to identify and maximise opportunities

Skills Required

You will be a proven stakeholder relationship manager with demonstrated experience building, maintaining and influencing successful relationships across diverse groups, including the government, political offices, peak bodies, associations, community groups, and schools.

You share TFA’s mission and also offer:

  • Networks to draw on which assist your understanding of key stakeholders
  • Sophisticated ability to influence and engage strategically with stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate the organisation, drawing on support where needed
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to lead creative, engaging workshops
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to express ideas in a clear, concise format
  • Knowledge of the education and government sectors would be a plus
