Suicide Prevention Australia (SPA) is the national peak body for the suicide prevention sector. SPA is a member-based organisation that’s guided by people with lived experience of suicide, counting amongst its members the largest and many of the smallest organisations working in suicide prevention, practitioners, researchers and community leaders.
SPA exists to provide a clear, collective voice for suicide prevention so that together lives can be saved and, through collaboration and shared purpose, works towards the ambition of a world without suicide.
Reporting to the Manager Policy and Government Relations, you will support SPA’s policy team to generate evidence and supporting resources to progress government and community advocacy and engagement.
You will do this by undertaking:

You may be looking to develop your policy skills and gain practical experience within a supportive and experienced team, or you may have experience in a similar position researching and analysing policy issues.
