The Organisation

Peer Support Australia provides essential support to schools to positively impact the wellbeing of children and young people. Encouraging healthier relationships, a positive school culture and improved student wellbeing are all important aspects of what they do. They also partner with parents and teachers to help guide students and involve them with their school and learning.

Based in North Sydney, this role works closely with committed colleagues whose vision is ‘through wellbeing, all Australian students reach their full potential’.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be leading new projects from design to implementation, through to analysis. By managing the full 360 project cycle, you would be responsible to:

  • Develop and launch new projects, working closely with schools and universities
  • Manage multiple pieces of work and understand any risk and mitigation requirements
  • Mapping projects to existing research and data to ensure increased reach and outcome impacts
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to provide support, ensuring effective delivery of projects
  • Promote the services and mission of Peer Support Australia to local communities and education institutions

Skills Required

You will have a background in the health and wellbeing sector, with solid experience in project or program management. You will also possess:

  • Ability to design and develop new initiatives into specific projects and programs
  • Strong research and data analysis skills to map programs to market
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with high attention to detail
  • Proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in the field of Health, Business or Project Management
