The Front Project is a national enterprise working to create positive change in Australia's early childhood education system so that all children have access to high quality ECEC experiences to set them up for a happier life and a more prosperous Australia. The Workforce Initiatives stream is a social enterprise working to build the quality and number of professionals in the ECEC workforce.

Developed in response to a clear need, the programs are designed to build on and leverage skills and knowledge in the early education sector. The Upskill Program and Online Community provides tailored support, resources, networking and professional development opportunities that upskill childhood educators take the next steps in their career; providing strong foundations for young children so they have the best chance to thrive now and in the future.

The Role

Reporting to the Lead Workforce Initiatives, this leadership position is responsible for program management and delivery across the Workforce Initiatives team and supports the growth and scale of the Front Project’s programs.

Responsibilities include to:

  • Deliver a contemporary workable program for Upskill students in the personal tier
  • Lead the delivery of the growth and scale of the suite of programs in Workforce Initiatives
  • Identify and document processes to ensure consistency and quality across programs
  • Support the Business Development Manager to develop relationships with universities and TAFE providers identifying opportunities for growth
  • Work in collaboration with the Lead Workforce Initiatives to iterate programs and develop opportunities to extend the business model.

Skills Required

You have proven program delivery and project management experience within a participant centric environment. The successful candidate will have an adaptive style that enables a sense of ease working in a dynamic evolving environment.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to:

  • Support participants through program delivery, relationship building and stakeholder management
  • Use project management skills to deliver program content
  • Write effective communications to engage a diverse stakeholder group
  • Work collaboratively and feel comfortable with ambiguity whilst delivering within timelines
  • Identify, research and recommend new initiatives within operational and strategic plans.
