Ngwala Willumbong Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that is dedicated to delivering quality specialist Alcohol and Drug Treatment, Housing and Homeless and other services to meet the needs of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander People and their families. Our services operate across Victoria.
As the Family Support Councillor, you will work closely with clients on waitlists and those in our residential rehabilitation centres to improve the prospects for successful engagement. By engaging with family, significant others and community, your holistic approach and family counselling skills will support the clients goals for recovery, using an Aboriginal cultural and community lens. This role will work across the three Ngwala residential Rehab Centres – Winja Ulupna and Galiamble in St Kida; and Yitjawudik in Mooroopna.
