The NFSWC is seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant Officer, part time, This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Our Purpose: Provide a collective Aboriginal voice to drive systemic improvements in the safety and wellbeing of Noongar children and their families.
The primary objective of the Administrative Assistant is to provide high-level secretarial, administrative, and executive support to the Executive Officer and the Noongar Family Safety and Wellbeing Council (NFSWC).
The Administrative Assistant will organise meetings and events, manage office supplies and equipment, support external communications and marketing activities, manage record keeping, information sharing and ICT systems, and assist in planning and reporting, executed in alignment with NFSWC’s Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures.
The Administrative Assistant will work under the direction of the Executive Officer.
To be successful you will need demonstrated administrative skills, together with outstanding communication skills including the ability to draft reports, submissions, and project plans. You will also have knowledge of child protection issues, experience in the community sector, the ability to work within a community development framework, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
