Envisaging the Future of Policing and Public Health project is developing the evidence base for alternative approaches to the role of policing in addressing complex issues with health, criminal justice and social justice impacts and implications globally.
We need an enquiring mind able to communicate across a wide range of sectors and cultures to this join a newly established team exploring law enforcement and public health.
You will be part of a team working to provide the evidence base for integration and reimagining of the law enforcement and public health sectors to increase community safety and well-being across a wide range of global settings.
This is a unique career opportunity suited to someone with a social justice, policing or public health background.
You will have connectivity to a global network, and be mentored by an experienced senior professional in the sector.
This position has flexibility to be either part-time at 4 days a week or full-time for an initial 12-month contract. This position is based in Melbourne with hybrid working arrangements.
