The Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital Ltd. (NRWH) is a non-for-profit charitable entity, building a permanent wildlife hospital dedicated to the critical care of sick and injured native animals by qualified veterinary staff.

The NRWH has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Project and Administration Coordinator with experience to assist in getting the hospital ready to open.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project and Administration Coordinator will provide support to the NRWH Board as well as engage with a wide range of key stakeholders.

The role will evolve, but in fulfilling the purpose, the following key responsibilities shall apply:

• Donor and member administration
• Ordering and taking delivery of equipment as instructed by Veterinary Advisor
• Grant Applications, grant administration and acquittals
• General Administration and Board secretariat
• Marketing using social media, online newsletters and website maintenance
• Northern Rivers Wildlife Network (NRWN) Secretariat
• Project management and budget tracking
• Volunteer recruitment and supervision

ABOUT YOU

• A demonstrated commitment to a not-for-profit mission
• A passion for the conservation of wildlife and the environment
• Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, Mailchimp
• Availability for onsite meetings and evening Board meetings once a month
• High degree of self-motivation and desire to energise others
• Flexibility, creativity and the ability to work well with a diverse group of people
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in Grant writing and grant applications
• Experience in WordPress or other website work would be advantageous
