ABOUT US

The Northern Territory Working Women’s Centre provides free and confidential advice to women across the territory who are experiencing workplace issues.

We also provide community education, policy advocacy and workplace training to support equitable and safe workplaces for all women in the Northern Territory.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • 30-35 hours per week Darwin.
  • Level 4 NTWWC Enterprise Agreement
  • ($77,991.57 pro rata –salary sacrifice available, plus 14.5% super)

The successful applicant will support the Director and industrial liaison team to ensure high quality provision of advice, information, advocacy, representation and support for women experiencing work related issues.

ABOUT YOU

This rewarding and varied role would suit someone who is open and collaborative, inquisitive, self motivated and with a "can do" attitude.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:

  • MS office skills and general computer literacy
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self motivated, with a willingness to learn and open to ongoing professional development
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a reception or administration role
