The Therapeutic Community (TC) is a short-term residential program. The TC is a 15-bed soon to be expanded treatment facility that works with clients to establish healthier relationships, promote personal change, and support them in their recovery journey.

The positions are offered as casual positions with the possibility of moving to permanent part time after program redevelopment takes place in 2022. The roles are based at the Therapeutic Community in Molyullah.
The Duty Worker helps oversee the operation of the program. The key purpose of the position is to act as the first point of contact and provide an appropriate operational response to resident issues, following established procedures. The position liaises closely with staff and ensures effective communication with residents to foster therapeutic relationships and maintain an ongoing atmosphere of mutual acceptance and harmony within the facility.
A day in the life of this position includes contributing to the life of the therapeutic community (TC) by liaising closely with residents, supporting staff in their client understanding and decision-making working with individuals in the context of the group this will include facilitating residents to attend appointments, and attending to every day needs oriented towards individual resident recovery goals.

Mandatory COVID vaccinations
Due to recent Victorian Government mandatory vaccination requirements for the health industry, all Odyssey House Victoria staff effective 15 October 2021 are required to hold full vaccination status. Evidence of full vaccination status will be requested during the onboarding process.
