Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role ensures all accounts payable duties are completed in a timely and effective manner, delivering quality customer service in line with ONCALL’s policies and procedures and working as an effective positive member of the Finance team.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting the Financial Accountant/ Executive Manager Finance and wider finance team
• Accurate and timely data entry and preparation of invoices for payment.
• Coding and data entry of payable invoices into finance system.
• Preparing bank/eft payments.
• Supplier reconciliations and liaison with suppliers.
• Resolving queries relating to accounts payable issues.
• Assisting with preparing Service Agreements for new Plan Management clients 
• Accurate coding and timely data entry into finance system and preparation of invoices for payment via NDIS Portal.
• Preparing the payment of fortnightly house monies, and reconciling funds received and paid for the period.
• General finance administration and ad hoc projects

From you, we need:

• 4+ years broad based accounts payable processing experience
• Sound knowledge of Xero or other accounting software
• Sound Microsoft suite skills
• Experience with accounts payable in a small to medium business 
• Ability to learn new systems and procedures quickly
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong time management skills – ability to prioritise work and work to strict time constraints
• Qualification in Business or Finance is preferred
