The role

Due to increasing demand and ONCALL Training College business growth, we are looking for individuals with relevant experience and qualifications to deliver training in the following areas:

  • NDIS Job Ready Program – designed as an entry career pathway to becoming a Disability Support Worker
  • Administration of Medication in the Community Services Sector - training delivery on skills and safe practices to support medication administration assistance
  • Manual Handling - training delivery on safe work practices when completing manual handling tasks, OHS responsibilities and safe use of mobility aids and equipment

Ability to also deliver the following is advantageous, but not essential:

  • Introduction to Meal Assistance Via Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)
  • Epilepsy and Midazolam Training - training delivery on different types of seizures, epilepsy management plans and administration of medication
  • Positive behaviour supports to minimise behaviours of concern
  • Supporting Individuals with Autism

Training programs are run from our Surrey Hills Campus and may be requested at various offsite locations.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated proficiency and experience developing and delivering training programs and learning materials
  • Relevant industry qualifications and experience
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher
  • Working with Children's Check
  • National Police Check
  • NDIS Workers Screening Checks (or willingness to obtain)
