Your new team:

The Helping Young People Early (HYPE) stream works closely with young people, aged 15 to 25, experiencing presentations of personality disorders and other co-occurring mental health difficulties. Our multidisciplinary team work collaboratively to provide an evidence-based early intervention service.

Your new role:

This is a key leadership position, developed in response to service growth and innovation. In your new senior role, you will:

  • Partner with young people and families/carers to provide inpatient-like care
  • Provide specialist interventions and leadership to a clinical team and influence service development at local, national and international levels
  • Be responsible for the provision of clinical leadership, management, training and supervision of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide specialist knowledge in clinical interventions such as psychological, family, domestic violence, AOD, physical health, ultra-high risk for psychosis, neurodevelopmental and eating disorders interventions, etc.

About You:

  • Comprehensive experience in clinical practice within the mental health field and proven expertise with young people
  • Experience with evidence-based practice for consumers experiencing or at risk of developing psychosis
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a multidisciplinary team: manage staff resources and ensure high standards of practice through staff supervision, clinical review, training and professional development activities
  • Currently an Allied Health Grade 4 Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist or Grade 5 Registered Psychiatric Nurse
