Your new job

This new role will support the Orygen Research team as they continue to grow in size and complexity. Reporting to the Chief of Research, you will drive operational improvement to align research operations with industry best practice and facilitate partnerships with internal and external collaborators relevant to delivering our program of research. You will:

  • Lead the development, establishment and implementation of a dedicated Research Operations strategy and framework.
  • Work with the Chief of Research to achieve strategic goals and meet business needs.
  • Lead the development of a research Quality Management System.
  • Manage, lead and mentor a diverse team.

What you’ll need

You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a positive difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:

  • Substantial experience working in a senior clinical operations/clinical research operations role where you have developed, established and implemented a strategy and managed global compliance and reporting.
  • Experience in contracts management, ethics and governance reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate, influence and build successful stakeholder relationships to ensure positive outcomes aligned to strategic initiatives.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health or science discipline.
