headspace Glenroy is seeking a permanent, part time Enhanced Access to Mental Health Clinician (in schools) to support the clinical programs team and help to improve the mental health and lives of young people.

Responsibilities:

  • With regular supervision, provide clinical psychological assessment, formulation and individual intervention for a variety of mental health issues
  • Liaise with a range of service providers regarding the referral for psychological services and to facilitate coordinated care
  • Complete appropriate reporting requirements/documentation
  • Participate in regular clinical case review meetings and multi-disciplinary team meetings

What you’ll need

You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health outcomes for young people. In addition, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (such as psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing).
  • Full or provisional registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration with AASW.
  • Experience in the provision of mental health care, including completion of mental health and risk assessment, crisis intervention/safety planning, evidence-based interventions to young people experiencing mental health and/or substance use problems.
  • Understanding of all key legislation and translation of such within health and school setting
