The Online Clinician will primarily work on the Orygen Digital trials that are currently operating across multiple clinical sites in Victoria and interstate. This role will be responsible for supporting participants using the MOST online platform within research studies as an Online Clinician, in accordance with research protocols.

Reporting to the Trial Moderation Coordinator, the Online Clinician will:

  • Welcome and onboard research participants to the MOST platform.
  • Assist MOST users to effectively engage with clinical content and other appropriate features within MOST, such as social networking, and peer and vocational support.
  • Maintain weekly contact with all MOST users, via messaging, discussions on the online forums, text message or telephone contact.
  • Maintain accurate records of contact with young people and relevant clinical information.

What you’ll need

You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:

  • A tertiary qualification in psychology or related mental health discipline.
  • Previous clinical experience (student placement considered) in the provision of mental health care, as a coach, counsellor or Clinician (intern/clinical placement positions considered) in a digital mental health context.
  • Demonstrated understanding of psychiatric diagnoses and disorders.
  • Demonstrated excellence to adhere to research study protocols.

  • Salary range between $58,707 - $77,025 pro rata commensurate with skills and experience + 10% super + NFP salary packaging up to $15,900

This is a part time (0.2-0.4 FTE) 12-month position.
