Your new job

The Parkville Hub Manager is responsible for the overall operations, efficiency and quality of services delivered out of Orygen’s premises at Parkville. The Manager will lead the implementation of the new model of youth mental health service delivery through efficient and effective management, and internal and external stakeholder engagement.

Reporting to Program Manager, Clinical Services you will:

  • Manage and lead the Parkville Hub roll out and integration of key components from the broader Regional Model Implementation Plan
  • Participate in complex program planning and at times higher level planning and policy development for the whole of the organisation
  • Provide direct supervision and management to the small team of administration and clinicians delivering services to young people as part of the Integrated Service Hub demonstration
  • Support the development and delivery of any service development and workforce development activities, including need assessments, planning resources or identified training requirements

What you’ll need

You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to the mental health outcomes of young people.
In addition, you bring:

  • Approved formal qualification(s) & required registration(s) for one of the following: Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing (EN/RPN) and current registration with AHPRA/AASW; or equivalent experience and qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in Service Delivery Management at a senior level
  • Knowledge of the mental health system of care and in particular within a youth mental health context
  • The ability to utilise clinical judgment and raise clinical and operational issues of concern and implement risk mitigation strategies as required
