About the role

Reporting to the Director, Prevention in Action, this is an exciting leadership role overseeing Our Watch’s increased implementation in workplaces, media, sporting organisations and tertiary education.

About you

You will be a confident leader and have significant expertise in primary prevention of violence against women, demonstrated skill in translating primary prevention evidence base into settings, skill in designing and leading scaling up of activity, partnering and stakeholder relationships and leading processes to drive change. You will also ideally have established relationships and an emerging expert reputation amongst the settings and industries in your team.

You will lead a team of gender experts with specialisations in training, facilitation, outreach and engagement and providing technical advice. Their work will be done as both funded activity and in fee for services arrangements.

Your overarching aim will be to increase prevention activity across the settings of workplaces, universities, Tafe, media and sporting organisations and clubs. Your team will work alongside individuals and organisations to build their capability, motivation and skill to undertake primary prevention activity in their settings.
