About the role

Working within the newly established Innovation Directorate, this position will work across the Directorate to support Innovative projects that seek to develop new and innovative knowledge, practices and strategies that build the evidence base on what works to prevent violence against women. Reporting to the Manager PMO and Innovation, you will work on establishing, developing and embedding project management capability across the Our Watch Project Management Office (PMO) and other Directorates through training, mentoring and capacity building. You will be accountable for developing a strategy that supports Project Leads across the organisation including delivering tools, processes and project training. In this autonomous role, you will train and provide guidance and coaching on project delivery including planning for uplifting Agile capability in project teams and across the organisation.

About you

The appointee will have extensive experience in the delivery of a practice Project Management capability and coaching in a standalone role. Your previous experience establishing or leading a Community of Practice and developing and rolling out project frameworks and collateral information will be underpinned by your ability to provide subject matter expertise and guidance to Project Managers related to Waterfall and Agile project delivery.
