Business Analyst - Outcomes & Evaluation

Reporting to the Manager Business Improvement, you will support OzChild staff to articulate, collect, analyse and provide recommendations on outcomes and the impact that our services are having on the lives of children, young people and families.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Empower services with a crystal-clear view of how to design and measure the success of each program by developing and maintaining evidence and stakeholder informed program logics.
  • Create a culture of continuous measurement and improvement by developing and championing outcome monitoring frameworks and reports for services that capture local and cultural factors.
  • Facilitate the streamlined collection of high-quality data by overseeing development and implementation of supporting tools, processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Maximise program success and meaningful insight capture by facilitating strong involvement of services teams and stakeholders, including service recipients and funders.

About you:

You enjoy turning analysis into consumable and compelling information and insights. You are passionate about interpreting data and trends, analysing results, and making accompanying recommendations. You are able to influence and compassionately work with services teams to improve the integrity and usefulness of the data being collected.

Ideal skills and experience:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in business analysis.
  • A background or experience in any of: program evaluation, statistics, psychology, social science, public policy, or research.
  • Demonstrated experience applying (or capability to learn) a range of assessment tools to appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Highly developed communication and influencing skills.
