Supporting the foster care team with annual reviews for foster carers..

The purpose of the position is to improve outcomes for children and young people conducting our annual reviews over the next 6 months. This is a short term, part time contract that will suit people returning to the workforce or looking for some extra work.

Work from home, with flexibility to work hours that suit you from 22 to 30 hours per week.

Who we are looking for:

  • Tertiary Qualification in, Human Services, Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology with experience of training and assessment and foster care
  • Shared Lives Training
  • High level knowledge and experience improving outcomes for children in foster care
  • Subject matter expertise in working with carers, improving delivery and managing the quality of program in foster care
  • Current driving license (essential)
  • Comprehensive understanding of foster care and the desire to do what works
  • Experience contacting foster carers, conducting interviews and writing reports

What you will do:

  • Improve outcomes through support, supervision and development of carers
  • Interview foster carers
  • Write annual reviews
  • Continually improve the carer household experience
  • Set carers up for success
  • Annual reviews and compliance checks as well as reports and reviews

What we offer:

  • Maximum term contract (6 months)
  • Employment dates October 25th - April 25th
  • SCHCADS Level 6 which is $46.91 per hour
  • Flexibility to work 3 or 4 days per week
  • Work from home
  • Salary packaging up to $15,900

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a police check and provide a WWCC card for Victoria.
