Program Supervisor - Treatment Foster Care Oregon - Adolescents

OzChild

Our TFCO story so far…

OzChild began delivering Treatment Foster Care Oregon (TFCO) in Australia in 2017. Starting in Victoria with one team we are now delivering the program in NSW and QLD with five teams on the ground across the three states. The program supports children and young people aged 7-17, who are at risk of, or currently living in residential care facilities.

Due to the successful outcomes being achieved we have now expanded delivery of the program into South Australia to support young people aged 12-17 years (TFCO-A).

This evidence-based, internationally proven treatment program supports and treats young people with significant behavioural challenges. TFCO-A provides a high level of support and intervention to young people in the home of a specially trained foster carer.

The aim of the program is to reunify young people with their biological family (including kinship carers) or place in lower intensity long-term foster care, with support provided to maintain stability.
